The 1cs Online Payment System can check the origin of credit cards to help prevent potential fraud: If you enter the delivery country as a parameter, the OPS returns the country of origin of Visa- and MasterCard-Credit cards. If the delivery country differs from the card nationality the OPS will send a notification by email.
To use fraud prevention, Merchants can transmit the three-digit numerical country code, the abbreviation of the delivery or invoice country to the OPS in the Zone parameter. Please note, there is a maximum length of 1100 characters. In some cases it is possible to use the 2-digit country code according to ISO 3166-1, which can be found in the following table. The values in the Zone parameter must correspond to the ISO 3166 country codes in the following table:
